For patients wanting the results of a nose surgery without having to go under the knife, ICCM recommends having a non surgical rhinoplasty.
Non-surgical rhinoplasty is used to correct noses – dips, troughs and bumps – by injecting small amounts of dermal filler.
FAQ’s: Non Surgical Rhinoplasty Sydney CBD
The process for a non surgical rhinoplasty is very simple. We will simply inject a filler into the problem area.
A non-permanent hyaluronic filler can also be used to correct a problem with a nose and if the patient is happy with the temporary result (9 – 12 months), they can then move to the long lasting option.
The dermal fillers we use for our non surgical rhinoplasty have been used extensively in Australia and throughout the world for facial correction and all have TGA approval for use in Australia.
The procedure is very safe and usually takes about 30 minutes. Non surgical rhinoplasty results are often seen almost immediately.
However, not all noses can be corrected using this method. Some may require a surgical option. We will of course discuss this with you during your initial rhinoplasty consultation.
You will be issued pre-operative instructions immediately after you make your decision to proceed. It is important to read and understand these instructions when preparing for a non surgical rhinoplasty in order to ensure the best possible results.
Those instructions may include:
- Refraining from smoking for several weeks before and after the procedure
- Avoiding certain medications
- Arranging for help following the procedure, such as transport and in-home care for the first 24 hours after you leave hospital.
Pricing starts at $550.
